1970's Conversion to Mid Century

From the start, our homeowners had a vision to refashion their 70's home to a sophisticated and updated mid-century vibe. The staircase is certainly the focal point of the home and refashioning it with solid oak treads and an updated metal railing appoints the space nicely.

The storage cabinet separating the kitchen and informal dining area had to go so we could open up the two adjacent spaces. Homeowners chose a great option for changing the look of your cabinetry that otherwise is in good condition by vinyl wrapping the existing cabinets and and also adding drawers and pull-outs for a big step in efficiency.

The beautiful Cambria quartz countertops are stunningly elegant yet distinctively durable and help reflect more light into the space.

A herringbone backsplash accentuates the mid century look by bringing the metals and materials together.

Additional storage was created in the informal dining room with a custom built-in buffet also vinyl wrapped and finished with a natural solid walnut butcher block countertop.

The base trim was replaced with stained 4 1/4" and luxury vinyl plank was laid throughout the main level and staircase landing.

This home is a BIG win for mid-century styling!
